Who we are

European Foods Wholesalers is a solid, reputable and progressive Australian company with a passion for medium to premium specialty foods and beverages.

We offer our clients the reassurance of doing business with a family-owned and private firm that has continuity of management dating back to 1936, when the Re group of companies was formed by Italian-Australians John and Maria Re.

Today, the tradition of food and family nurtured by our company's founders is combined with modern innovation. From humble beginnings, we have grown to become an industry leader with a firm focus on the future.

What we do

We import, manufacture and distribute specialty foods, beverages, liquor and catering equipment from Europe and around the world for our clients in the retail and hospitality industries from Australia to Asia and beyond.

Our strategy is to be regarded as specialists in every customer channel we service and in each and every product category we operate, and our focus is on building brands for the long term.

To complement the leading international brands we represent, we also market our own well established, complementary brands and products. These include Braziliano Coffee, Farnese Wines, Cecilia Antipasti, Silvana Coffee, Eureka Cheeses, Bibo brand products, to name a few.

We carry around 5,000 products, which are constantly updated to keep abreast of the food industry's ever-changing palate. Our pricing is guaranteed to be competitive as we are the direct importers for most of the products we sell.

How we do it

Operating from our warehouse in the heart of multicultural Northbridge in Perth, Australia, we combine tradition with technology, and personal service with progressive corporate business systems.

We have an experienced team of over seventy five people, efficient computer ordering systems and HACCP quality assurance to provide service that sets the standard in food and beverage supply.

Our reputation as an industry leader has been recognised on several occasions over the years.

European Foods Wholesalers is also a member and very supportive of various industry associations, including the Restaurant and Catering Industry Association, Specialty Coffee Association of Europe, Specialty Coffee Association of America, the Australian Hotels Association and the Australasian Specialty Coffee Association.
