There is still time to enter the S.Pellegrino Young Chef of the Year competition

The period to fully apply to the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 challenge is from 1st February to 30th April 2017, 23:59 (GMT+1).

HOW IT WORKS

1st February - 30th April 2017

In these dates young chefs can apply for the Global Talent search.

  • They have to be max thirty years old and employed as commis/chef/sous chef/chef de partie.
  • They need to read the rules, accept them, fill the form and upload their CV, a copy of their Identity document, their signature dish recipe and photos.

 

1st - 31st May 2017

ALMA (the world’s leading international educational and training center for Italian Cuisine) selects max 10 semi-finalists for each of the 21 world areas.

7th June - 31st December 2017

The semi-finalist chefs of each Area are asked to cook their signature dish in front of a Local Jury that selects one finalist.

22th - 23th June 2018

All finalists are in Italy for the Grand Final Event.

  • During the event, the finalist chefs prepare their signature dish that will be judged by an International top chef Jury.
  • The Jury will award just one of them with the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018.
