Education
The Braziliano Coffee Superbarista Education Centre Australia was established by European Foods Wholesalers in 1999 to raise the standard of espresso served in Australia. Since then, the Centre has evolved into a hub of innovation and talent, having now trained more than 8,000 people in the fine art of everything coffee. The Braziliano Coffee training team is made up of experienced industry professionals who are as competent training on World Barista Championship Standards as they are assisting students and café owners on improving efficiency without forsaking quality. The Centre is nationally accredited due to its long term association with West Coast TAFE’s Academy for Hospitality and Tourism.
Among the largest and best resourced facilities of its type in the southern hemisphere, the Centre provides access to eight operating commercial espresso machine work stations and two espresso focus training areas, as well as a full web camera setup. The Centre is unique in that it is located directly adjacent to an operational roasting facility, features enough equipment to provide more than adequate time for hands on practice for all students and contains enough room to allow students to access the very latest in international espresso equipment available. It is these features that allows students of the Centre to undertake a complete immersion in the espresso coffee experience, facilitating a greater understanding of the art and science that is espresso coffee production.
