Introduction to Specialty Coffee

Location: Braziliano SuperBarista Coffee Education Centre (95 Aberdeen St, Northbridge)

Braziliano Coffee was proud to introduce Western Australia's first Introduction to Specialty Coffee course in 2011. This course equips participants to understand coffee from bean to cup. The Braziliano SuperBarista Coffee Education Centre is home to a state of the art and artisanal coffee roastery, so students are guaranteed to taste a range of freshly roasted, premium coffee beans and blends. Participants will learn to extract the perfect espresso, and gain an understanding of how to appreciate it using all the senses.

The Braziliano SuperBarista Coffee Education Facility is one of the largest of its types, fully equipped with a range of commercial espresso machines to ensure each participant gains plenty of hands on practice with the assistance of expert trainers. Basic milk texturing techniques are also taught in this course.

Braziliano has been roasting coffee in the heart of Northbridge from 1936, and we pass on our enthusiasm for tradition and innovation in specialty coffee through this course that is ideal for beginners, coffee enthusiasts, and those who would like to break into the hospitality industry.
