Further information about the Centre

The Braziliano Coffee Superbarista Education Centre is among the largest of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. It was established by European Foods Wholesalers in 1999 to raise the standard of espresso served in Australia.

Since then, the Centre has evolved into a hub of innovation and talent, having now trained more than 8,000 people in the fine art of ‘everything’ coffee. The Centre can provide nationally Accredited Courses through its association with West Coast TAFE’s Academy of Hospitality and Tourism.

The Braziliano Coffee training team is made up of experienced industry professionals who are as competent training to World Barista Championship Standards as they are assisting students and café owners on improving efficiency without forsaking quality.

The Centre provides access to eight operating commercial espresso machine work stations, three espresso focus training areas, as well as a vast array of international coffee training resources.

The Centre is unique in that it is located directly adjacent to an operational roasting facility, features enough commercial and domestic equipment to provide hands on practice for all students and allows students to work on the very latest in international espresso equipment.

The Centre, through its association with West Coast TAFE, is now also able to offer the Nationally Accredited unit THHBFB12B Prepare and Serve Espresso.

It is these features that allow students of the Centre to undertake a complete immersion in the espresso coffee experience, facilitating a greater understanding of the art and science that is espresso coffee production and service.

HOW TO FIND US

The Braziliano Coffee Superbarista Education Centre is conveniently located at 95 Aberdeen Street, Northbridge, Western Australia.

It is within walking distance of the Perth train station and those catching the Blue CAT bus can alight at the Perth TAFE stop and make the short walk from there. Parking at European Foods Wholesalers is restricted to Cash-n-Carry purchasers only, however alternative parking is available close by, as indicated.
