Getting out and about in the community

Since the beginning of 2014, the European Foods events team have been taking part in a host of events as part of our commitment to being involved in our community and getting playing a role in some fantastic initiatives throughout Perth and WA. We are delighted to be a part of many local events and to be able to support local charities and fundraising agencies.

The Variety Italian Gala took place on Friday 21 February at Royal Perth Yacht Club, featuring delicious food, fine wine, fabulous entertainment and fireworks display, to support Variety, the Children’s Charity of WA. European Foods donated San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, the water choice of fine-dining lovers, to the event. Each of the 600 guests were also treated to Italy’s favourite chocolates, Baci Perugina. Each rich, bittersweet Baci is wrapped with a message of love and friendship and is filled with a delicate centre of chopped hazelnut gianduja and luscious milk chocolate, completed with a perfect, whole hazelnut, and is coated with velvety smooth dark chocolate or creamy delicious white chocolate. Now that’s amore!

The team were also busy at The 2014 Design Circus, hosted by Mobilia and curated by world renowned designers Culdesac from Valencia, Spain. The event showcased and stimulated interest and excitement in innovative design via active experience in Perth from 18 - 22 February 2014. The Northbridge Coffee Roasters, along with European Foods Wholesalers and Rewind Retrospective were delighted to be part of this inaugural event, supplying the creative crowd with mouth-wateringly good cheese platters created with a selection imported and Australian cheeses, San Pellegrino Finest Sparkling Mineral Water and Rewind Retrospective Coffee and Smooth Cocoa.

Silvana Coffee and Azzura Gelato affogatoMost recently The Northbridge Coffee Roasters Team attended the 2014 Annual Lifeline WA Fundraising Brunch that took place on Sunday 9 March. The Mondo Community Warriors brought together some of Perth’s top hospitality figures for breakfast, live auction and smaller silent auction throughout the day.

Every year Vince Garreffa generously donates his Mount Lawley backyard for this marvellous fundraising event and this was the fourth year we were serving the award winning Silvana Finest Quality Arabica Coffee and San Pellegrino Sparkling Fruit Beverages to the eager Sunday morning crowd.

Congrats to Vince and crew as the brunch brought in the best figure yet with over $300,000 being raised for Lifeline WA, which delivers services that aim to prevent suicide, support people in crisis and create opportunities for emotional wellbeing.
